- Monitoring system health: The task manager determines what software uses a lot of resources. If an application is slow, it is highly recommend you close it. Also you should use monitor the temperature of your computer to make sure your system is not overheating.
- Best Security Practice: Always use strong passwords and two way authentication to protect yourself from other people accessing your computer. Also when checking your email avoid clicking on suspicious links.
- Perform System Resets: If your computer is having issues, make sure you have a restore point created so that you can revert to the backup that is working. Unless your computer is sluggish run a factory reset.
- Optimize Internet Connection: Maintain your router by upgrading its firmware for a stable Internet Connection. Make sure to secure your wireless access point with a higher encryption and strong password so that no one outside your place doesn’t access your internet.
- Use Power Efficient Savings: To save energy or prolong battery life it is necessary to run a power plan. Make sure sleep or hibernation mode is setup
- Check system logs: Check your computer for any hardware or software errors. ALWAYS CHECK GOOGLE regarding solutions to those errors found.
